The City of Sallisaw recently purchased 130 acres of property located on the east side of Sallisaw.  Acting on the recommendation of the Sallisaw Youth and Recreation Commission, the city purchased the property as the site for the future youth sports complex. The Youth and Recreation Commission is currently working with city officials and consultants on a design.
